When it comes to booking a boudoir session let's just be honest here, it is probably the most intimate and vulnerable experience you will have with an almost stranger. So it is of the utmost importance to trust them. Boudoir is so much more than taking a pretty picture, we capture the raw beauty of our client. Most women are predisposed to "hating" themselves, and here we come with a camera and the intent to change that. When it comes to choosing your photographer, you need to vibe with them.

My favorite story to tell is one about a friend of mine that entrusted me to do her boudoir shoot, she was in the process of divorce, but had found someone that really made her heart flutter. She had reached out to a number of other photographers but was really "turned off" when they wouldn't answer any of her questions.

Let me tell you how DIFFICULT it was, knowing she is my friend, knowing that she hates every inch of herself, and then making her CRY when I revealed the images.

I have been told I capture emotion with every shutter click, that when I press that button the Universe just aligns everything so perfectly for me. That really stuck with me, because it really is a lot of trusting the process, more so on the client end, because I know I am going to have you contorted like you have never been (don't worry I'll send a stretching guide) You are going to think things are hanging and jiggling where you do not want them, but I promise, that is ONLY in your eyes.

I hope I don't make you cry too...well, on the other hand, I hope I do.
